IMPORTANT NOTE:
The preparation of a competition engine must be carried out by a qualified professional in this field. Any mechanic can assemble an engine, but it is a completely different matter to perform the necessary calculations regarding tolerances, correct camshaft overlap, balancing, head chamber volume, selecting the ideal head gasket thickness, calculating compression ratio, modifying cylinder head flow, etc. All of this requires specific tools and expertise to guarantee maximum power and reliability of the engine. The higher the power output, the greater the need for extreme attention to every detail in the preparation. Remember: an engine subjected to extreme workloads requires the highest quality components. While there are other manufacturers offering cheaper alternatives, at RR2 MOTORSPORT we have disregarded them as they do not meet the level of quality we consider essential.

For Stage 2 and Stage 3, we recommend the use of exclusive competition oils, specifically formulated for this type of engine:
DRIVEN XP9, XP6 or HR3, developed to withstand the maximum demands of the engine.
Additional recommendations to achieve the estimated power output:
Stage 1 (≈170 HP): 4-1 exhaust manifold, performance air filter, complete exhaust system.
Stage 2 (≈200 HP): 4-1 exhaust manifold, ECU remapping/programming.
Stage 3 (≈250 HP): 4-1 exhaust manifold, programmable ECU, independent throttle bodies.
These are some of the essential recommendations to reach the approximate power figures for each stage. However, final results may vary depending on the expertise and specific work carried out by the engine builder.
